Here goes a new video from Erykah Badu. This Ta’raach produced jam was one of my favorites off of her last album. I was surprised to see that the video is actually directed by Flying Lotus. Guess hes getting back to his film making roots.

Still Shining is a film about the legendary late great producer James Yancey aka Jay Dee aka J. Dilla. It includes many testimonials from his friends, family, and artistic collaborators that are both touching and inspiring. As many of you may know, Dilla suffered from Lupus, and some of his last works were created from his hospital bed. It is quite inspiring that this man could continue to create such extraordinary works of beauty under so much pain.

LOL… I have no words for this

The other day on twitter Ms Badu talked about how nervous she was for the premier of her new video “Window Seat.” Now I see what she was talking about. Biggups to you Badu, that took some guts!
